Hi can I make this with a light weight vinyl? I have a thin flexible mock croc that I think would look great but just want to check it'll hold up through any bagging out involved etc

Where do you live? I love watching craft videos. I plan to make a few of yours- very cool-but I live in Canada and I’ve never heard number description of interfacing like you speak. I understand light weight, medium weight and heavy weight interfacing and an American site talks about a heat and bond interfacing where you heat press it and you peal paper after you’re finished. I hope someone knows about the weights of the iron on interfacing you use.

4:04 What if it isn't "nice and rigid and firm"? I have two walking trouser belts that just pull through ... hence why I'm here. Nicely made video, well explained. I guess I must just be stupid, but then I've suspected it for a while.
Maybe your webbing is very limp or the buckle is wider than the webbing. Hard to say without seeing it I'm afraid

Just warm it with a hair dryer then turn through
Does it change the placement (height) of pockets when downsizing
In theory you should change everything by the same percentage - so if a pocket placement is 2" down from the top and you are printing your pattern at 80%, calculate 80% of 2" for new placement

I like the wide straps but I fill my handles with soft clothes line rope and stitch in half to cover the rope... Makes a really nice comfortable handle. 💕🌞🌵😷
